Type of venue

The Royal Opera House Muscat – short ROHM – is a cultural landmark of international standing.
Located in the Shati Al-Qurum district of Muscat, the venue impresses with its elegant design, state-of-the-art technology and architectural scale. Since its opening, it has become a symbol of Omani cultural ambition and artistic excellence. To meet the technical expectations of this prestigious venue, Waagner-Biro Stage Systems was responsible for the modernisation of both upper and lower stage machinery. The system is operated via a C⋅A⋅T V4 control system. The full installation was handed over in 2018.
