Facts and Figures

Waagner-Biro Stage Systems equipped both halls of the Centro Nacional de Acción Social por la Música with modern stage technology. In Sala I, the delivery included stage platforms, acoustic panels, tubular shaft hoists, and a drive system for the organ’s acoustic flaps. Sala II and the outdoor theatre received an acoustic shell, additional hoists, telescopic seating, and a central control system. The acoustic ceiling element provides both flexibility and visual integration.

Rising impressively over the Caracas skyline, the Centro Nacional de Acción Social por la Música is a landmark of both architectural elegance and cultural vision.

Nestled within the green surroundings of Parque Los Caobos, the building shines even more brightly — a futuristic symbol of modern music education and performance.

The aim of this pioneering institution is to break away from outdated and conservative models of music education. Here, music is taught and lived with passion, mission, and respect. More than just a venue for concerts, this light-filled and forward-thinking centre also serves as a university-level educational space for conductors, performers, and aspiring music professionals.

The building is divided into two main sections: academic training takes place in the northern part, while the southern area houses the concert halls — Simón Bolívar Hall N°1 with 1,100 seats and Concert Hall N°2 with 400 seats.

Following a successful collaboration on the main hall back in 2006, Waagner-Biro Stage Systems was once again entrusted with delivering stage equipment for Sala II. For a venue of this size and prestige, only state-of-the-art technology would suffice: a rotatable acoustic ceiling element was installed, which can also serve as a front-stage shield when positioned vertically. In addition, a fixed telescopic seating block was supplied.
