Eroeffnung MT Linz 4 Reinhard Winkler@Reinhard Winkler

The music theater in Linz combines a cultural monument with one of the largest revolving stages in the world.

The revolving stage with a diameter of 32 meters is the heart of the theater and represents a remarkable feat of stage technology that only a few providers worldwide can achieve.

Several simultaneous scenes on the main stage enable quick and effective transformations of the stage set to amaze the audience. The state-of-the-art stage technology meets the high demands of the Musiktheater Linz and enables the stage set to be changed quickly.

Surprise effects for the audience can be achieved using various stage technology options, e.g. sloping stages and steps for choir concerts or trap lifts.

With the completion of the Music Theater, the Linz Landestheater now operates three stages, with the large auditorium seating almost 1,000 spectators in repertoire mode.
