The Finnish National Theatre is located in the heart of Helsinki and is the oldest theatre performing in the Finnish language.

The main stage seats 885 people. Behind the historic building lies a cubic extension from 1954 housing a smaller stage with 309 seats. In 1976, the venue was further expanded with the addition of the “Willensauna” studio stage, offering space for 152 visitors.

In 2020, the renowned institution decided to upgrade its stage technology and once again placed its trust in the systems of Waagner-Biro Stage Systems.
