©Teresa NobleWaagner-Biro Stage Systems played a central role in the refurbishment of the State Theatre at Arts Centre Melbourne, a renowned performing arts center.
This refurbishment included an extensive modernization of the stage technology, including the installation of over 100 scenery hoists in the upper machinery and the implementation of new control and lighting systems.
The modernization of the State Theater also included the installation of the newly developed C⋅A⋅T V5 gallery consoles (C⋅A⋅T 550), which enable precise and efficient control of the stage technology. Waagner-Biro Stage Systems acted as the main contractor for all renovation work, including the stage machinery, lighting and project-related construction work.
In total, an impressive 107 fly bar hoists, 22 chain hoists and 12 mobile point hoists and many more were installed for the renovation, which was completed within a tight seven-month deadline.
